Privacy Policy

When you use the app without an account, information may be stored locally on your device or in your browser. This can include:

• Devotional progress
• Current day and page
• Journal reflections
• Heart Space check-ins
• Saved prayers
• Saved affirmations
• Favorite scriptures and bookmarked days
• App preferences
• Gentle Companion conversations you choose to save

Locally saved information may be lost if you clear your browser data, delete the app, change devices, or lose access to the device.

Journal text is not automatically sent to the Gentle Companion. You must intentionally choose what text to share, and only the text you review and approve is submitted.

The selected text and the day's devotional context are processed by a third-party AI provider — currently Lovable AI Gateway (Google Gemini) — to generate a response.

The AI provider processes only the text you approve, plus the current day's devotional context, in order to return a response. We have not independently verified provider retention or model-training practices; do not submit information you are not comfortable having processed by an outside AI service.

An account is not required to use the devotional.

Optional account syncing is not currently available. All information stays on your device today.

We do not currently use third-party analytics to track your journal content or private reflections.

We never send journal text, prayers, Heart Space notes, or Gentle Companion conversation content to analytics platforms.

• Save your devotional progress
• Restore your selected preferences
• Provide requested app features
• Generate a Gentle Companion response when you intentionally request one
• Sync information when you enable syncing (not currently available)
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the app

We do not sell or rent your journal entries, prayers, reflections, Heart Space check-ins, or Gentle Companion conversations. We do not use this private content to target advertising to you.

You can export your journal reflections, progress, saved prayers and affirmations, and any Gentle Companion conversations you chose to save. Visit the Export or Delete My Information page.

You can delete:

• Individual journal entries
• Individual saved conversations
• Individual affirmations or prayers
• All locally stored app information
• Synced account information (when syncing is available)
• Your account (when accounts are available)

Deleting from this device does not automatically delete cloud-synced information unless you also choose the cloud-delete option. Permanent deletion always requires confirmation.

Information saved on this device stays until you delete it, clear your browser storage, or remove the app.

We use reasonable safeguards to protect information. No online system or device- storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

This app is intended for adults age 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date shown at the top of the page.
